Construction Manager
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
5–10 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
Proven ability to manage site operations and lead construction teams effectively.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Certification in safety management or PMP is an advantage.
Job Description:
Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities for infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, utilities, etc.).
Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain workflow.
Monitor daily progress, resolve site issues, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Manage site resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.
Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
Review and approve work schedules, progress reports, and site documentation.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to design and quality standards.
Control costs and minimize waste while maintaining productivity.
Report site progress and challenges to senior management regularly.
