Infrastructure

Infrastructure is the foundation of any thriving economy. Roads, bridges, and railways transport and connect communities; seaports and airports open doors to global opportunities; and water distribution systems and dams provide essential resources for irrigation and power. These fundamental structures are crucial for driving development and progress.

EEI Corporation has taken a proactive role in constructing the infrastructure that fuels the nation's growth. Over the years, EEI has been instrumental in constructing numerous bridges and national highways across the Philippines. Landmark projects such as the EDSA Metro Rail Transit (MRT) and the Metro Manila Skyway are strong examples of EEI’s expertise and dedication to uplifting communities and the nation at large.

Today, EEI continues to shape the future by playing a significant role in the construction of the Metro Manila Subway, the Malolos-Clark Railway, and the DOTr South Commuter Railway.

Metro Manila Subway

The Metro Manila Subway is an ongoing-construction underground transit line in Metro Manila which is the first of its kind in the Philippines. It is a 36-kilometer line that consists of 17 stations from Valenzuela to NAIA Terminal 3 and FTI. The initial part of Phase 1 was awarded by the DOTr to the Joint Venture of Shimizu Corp., Fujita Corp., Takenaka Civil Engineering Co. Ltd., and EEI Corporation.

Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3, Section 5 Balintawak Flyover

This major EEI infrastructure project addresses transportation needs, alleviates traffic congestion in Metro Manila, and enhances connectivity to Northern Luzon.

Panglao International Airport

The Panglao International Airport, known as the Philippines' first eco-airport and green gateway, replaced Tagbilaran Airport to accommodate Bohol's growing tourism-driven passenger traffic.

Metro Manila Skyway Stage 2, Sucat Alabang Viaduct Project

A 9 km elevated expressway along the existing Skyway Alignment in Alabang, Muntinlupa. This project accommodates more motorists from both the northbound and southbound directions.
