Procurement Supervisor

Job description

Project Procurement Activities:

  • Prepare detailed material/work packages and sourcing schedules.

  • Source project requirements, evaluate bids, and award contracts.

  • Identify suitable vendors for requisitions and issue purchase/job orders promptly.

  • Manage existing sourcing agreements for compliance and improvement.

  • Conduct vendor performance reviews and resolve contract-related issues.

  • Ensure adherence to supply/service agreements and Service Level Agreement targets.

  • Establish positive vendor relations.

Administrative and Coordination Tasks:

  • Liaise with Vendor Management for end-to-end vendor support.

  • Review and recommend improvements to contracts.

  • Monitor agreement utilization and compliance.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), Architecture, or Business Administration/Finance with Accounting.

  • MBA or Supply Chain certifications are a plus.

  • At least 5 years in Supply Chain, Procurement, Project, and Contract Management.

  • Extensive contract negotiation experience.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP knowledge is an advantage.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and time management skills.

  • Knowledge of products, services, and purchasing policies.

  • Result-oriented and capable of handling heavy workloads under pressure.
