Construction Manager
Job Description:
Oversee and direct construction projects from initiation to completion
Plan project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
Review project plans and specifications to estimate costs and schedule deliverables
Supervise on-site and off-site construction activities to ensure compliance with safety and building regulations
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, construction workers, and suppliers
Monitor work progress daily and resolve issues that may delay the project
Ensure quality control standards are met throughout the construction process
Prepare internal and external reports on job status and project milestones
Negotiate contracts, obtain permits, and ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are fulfilled
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in construction management or a similar role
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple teams effectively
Familiarity with safety standards and risk management practices
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
