Safety Manager
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Safety Manager or similar role in the construction industry
In-depth knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices
Proven ability to develop and implement effective safety programs and initiatives
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address safety concerns
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees at all levels
Proficiency in using safety-related software and data analysis tools
Job Description:
Developing, implementing and monitoring safety policies, procedures and training programs to create a culture of safety awareness and compliance
Conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
Investigating incidents and accidents, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Collaborating with project managers, site supervisors and workers to promote safe work practices
Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations and standards
Maintaining detailed records and preparing reports on safety performance metrics
Providing safety-related training and coaching to employees at all levels
