Top Caliber Structures and Engineered Products

EEI’s Steel Fabrication, in existence for over 30 years, is a modern world-class shop and a competitive strength of company.

Modern manufacturing plants will not be complete without the necessary process equipment. Tanks, silos, pressure vessels, drums, heat exchangers, together with pumps, motors and instrumentation equipment, are fabricated and assembled at its ISO 9001-certified shop in Batangas.

With a land area of about 13 hectares, the facility has a full complement of bending, rolling and welding equipment with an annual rated production capacity of 30,000 metric tons. It is equipped with heat treatment oven, blasting and painting lines, and its own power sub-station, slipways and jetty.

In-house non-destructive testing facilities and strict quality control procedures under ISO 9001 Certified Quality Assurance Program assures clients of the highest quality and customer satisfaction.

The shop houses a modular assembly facility for the fabrication and assembly of plant modules. Over the years, it has assembled boilers, turbines and power plant modules for Japanese and other clients which have been shipped in whole assemblies abroad. Presently, it is undertaking local fabrication of mining refinery plant modules for the Inco Goro Nickel Mining in New Caledonia.

The assembly facility includes customs-bonded manufacturing warehouse which allows duty-free entry of materials and tax-free export of finished assemblies.

It has been fabricating silos, pressure vessels, tanks, exchangers, boiler parts and other intricate steel structures for the country’s oil and gas facilities, power plants, food and beverage plants, breweries, sugar mills and other manufacturing facilities as well as exporting steel structures to the overseas market.

The Fabrication Shop is integral to the Company’s comprehensive capability to fabricate and erect structures and assemblies for industrial installations and infrastructure projects.

As the undisputed leader in the fabrication of mechanical and structural steel structures in the Philippines, it has earned the unique distinction from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers which has awarded it the right to stamp the ASME seal in pressure vessels, pressure piping and power boiler parts that it fabricates and assembles.
