Solid Track Record

The Company is committed to the highest standards of project excellence, quality and customer satisfaction.

EEI was the first Philippine company to attain ISO 9002 certification, receiving the quality management system certification for its steel fabrication operations in 1994. In 1998, this was expanded to include all its industrial construction activities. And later in 2000, the ISO certification was upgraded to the ISO 9001:2000 covering General Building and Engineering and Industrial Construction and Steel Fabrication.

The Company has achieved concrete landmarks of achievement and numerous citations from clients recognizing milestone safety records and quality.

It has been cited for completing the 600 MW baseload Pagbilao Power Plant (Quezon) in record time in the 1990s which was one of several it undertook as contractor for various global Engineering, Procurement and Construction players. Likewise, it made history for completing the Davao Fishing Port a year ahead of schedule, as well as the Ionics EMS' 14,000 sq.m. semiconductor assembly plant in just 3 ½ months.

EEI’s extensive experience as an international and domestic contractor has not gone unnoticed. It gained distinction in 2000 when it was ranked within the Top 225 International Contractors by the Engineering News Review magazine, a worldwide industry journal.

Apart from its solid track record of performance, it has also received citations from the Public Relations Society of the Philippines for its Significant Contribution to National Development and the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration as a Hall of Fame awardee in recognition of its outstanding performance in deploying the highest number of Filipino construction and technical workers abroad.

It has an unmatched record of performance in upholding and maintaining safety in its projects, with certain overseas projects reaching as much as 10 Million man-hours with no lost time accident from various clients (Fluor Daniel, Braun Transworld, Bechtel, Aramco, Pilipinas Shell, Petron, Mitsubishi).

2001 Safety Award (Plant Engineering Construction Pte Ltd)

2002 Certificate of Achievement (Bechtel/MHI/SC ECO)

Commitment to project loss prevention, health and safety mission in achieving 2 million man-hours without a lost workday or injury in the construction of the Ghazlan II Power Plant

2002 Safety Award (AMEC/BKW)

Achievement of 5 million man-hours without a lost time accident at the Berri Gas plant, KSA

2004 Safety Award (Fluor/JUPC)

Achievement of 30 million man-hours without a lost time accident at the JUPC Ethylene project, KSA

2006 Safety Award (Inco Goro Nickel Module Fabrication)

Achievement of 1 million man-hours without a lost time accident for the Module Fabrication intended for the Inco Goro Nickel project at the EEI Batangas Fabrication Shop
